End of lease cleaning: what's included and what it costs
An end-of-lease (bond) clean is held to a property manager's inspection standard. It is the most detailed clean and is priced on the property, not by the hour.
What it usually includes
- Full detailed clean of every room
- Inside the oven, cupboards and drawers
- Bathrooms and tiling cleaned to inspection standard
- Interior windows, tracks and sills
- Skirtings, walls spot-cleaned, marks removed
What it often excludes
- Carpet steam cleaning (often a separate line item)
- Repairs, painting or gardening
- Exterior areas unless specified
